I have bought a few things from Big Jim's and they are great to deal with. Living in New Zealand it can be a bit difficult getting things shipped from the US but Jim and Barbara make it easy. Excellent communication and great products, also realistic advice on if it is worth shipping from the US or not.
Can't say enough about BigJim and his down to earth crew.
Great guy to deal with! Placed an order for my second custom bow with BigJim, this one a Thunder Child. I wanted a uniquely figured exotic wood riser and limb veneers and he got to work searching it out. In a matter of a few days he found what I was looking for. Can't beat the big guy when it comes to workmanship and service!
I'm a huge fan of Big Jim's. I just got my first order of custom blems from Big Jim and I love them! They look great, shoot great, and you can't beat the price. I had a question on the order and got an email response right away.

Big Jim Bow Co. is a model of how any business should be operated. Aside for the great sales that come up periodically, their prices are good, selection is excellent and shipping/handling fees a very reasonable, and don't forget the superb customer service.

My last order cost x amount and then shipping on top of that. Everything came to the house (Canada) quickly and I was happy. The next day I got an e mail saying he had credited my credit card because the shipping was less than he thought. Now that is honesty and service.
Its not hard to find at least one guy who has something bad to say about anyone or anything. Except when it come to Big Jim. A fine example of a businessman and all around gent.
I want to thank ya'll for the accolades, but I'm sure there are some silent customers out there saying yeah, they ain't that good...and unfortunately that is true.
We try our best to get everything correct the first time and preach accuracy before speed when it comes to filling orders. We don't however have a fancy inventory system and are often frustrated with what we do have.
Most recently I hired a new employee. He is a nice young fella that I felt had promise. A clean slate so to speak that we could train or so I thought. Debbie kept telling him, one order at a time, ask questions, don't get in a hurry.
Unfortunately he turned out to be adddddddd, color blind and unable to read or count...or so it seemed. I really liked the kid so we apologized and tried to fix it but just could not.
Now don't get me wrong, the rest of us here make mistakes...You don't want me taking your order unless it's for a custom bow. Mostly the office won't let me take orders either...best that way.
Their mistakes are few and far between, but when we do make a mistake, we own up to it and do our best to remedy the situation.
I have heard it said that the measure of a business/person is how they handle their problems. This may be why you don't hear of many complaints against us....or its because I threaten them :laughing:
