We are excited about having Mike Mitten as the UBM Festival guest speaker this year. Mike has entertained us all for years with his tales of hunting solo in the Great White North and I'm sure he'll have some more stories to share at the event. You might want to make plans to attend the shindig and join in the fun. It will be in Springfield, MO this year the weekend of February 5th-7th.
More info about the event can be found in the Trad Gatherings Forum under the thread, 2016 United Bowhunters of Missouri Festival (http://tradgang.com/noncgi/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=94;t=003522)

I will be there this year. I read the flyer and it sounds like a fun week end.
:goldtooth:
Made the reservations.
Looking forward to Mike Mitten.
See you guys there.
I'm getting some radio spots made to hopefully increase attendance during the day on Saturday. I'm meeting with the radio ad lady tomorrow to get it all finalized.
We have two great black bear hunts in the live auction again this year. These hunts historically have went for half or less than what they're worth so if you ever wanted to kill a bear this is about as good a chance as you will get. The success rate of the Ontario hunt is phenomenal! I think they guys went 5 for 6 last year. When I hunted there in 2012 we went 9 for 10. They've got bears up there like Missouri has possums and armadillos!

That looks like quite the Gathering. I've heard Mike speak on many topic; he does a great job.
Is that Maine bear hunt the outfit the Black Widow boys go with every fall?
Yes it is, Steve. Tony runs a great camp! Everyone I know who has been there has been very satisfied regardless if they killed a bear or not.

I will be there Saturday only. Sounds great and I will have to check out the traders and indoor range.
I work all weekends so sadly I will not attend. Always a good fun time.
Planning on attending at least Saturday, if work doesn't jump up and bite me.
