I have adopted a modified version of Dan Tolke's 2 under shooting because I was getting CRAZY finger pinch even on longer bows. I am wanting to start making my own tabs and I saw he sells a kit. I am not really interested in his kit, but I did notice where he said he uses a fleece tab face.. I have never heard of that.
Anyone else use this? Know why they would use it?
I would think that would cause a problem down the road?? Cloth anything picks stuff up and sticks to it. I would use leather.
I have one that came with one of his bows. It is evidently designed for 2 under, as it is not as wide as a normal tab. I tried it a couple of times and wasn't impressed, and so I put it away in a box. You're welcome to have it if you will PM me with your address.
Love the bow, BTW.
I bought one of his tab kits to try it. The fleece started wearing off within the first 50-60 shots. I don't feel that there is proper durability, but on the plus side, it was very quiet. Sometimes cordovan leather can squeak, the fleece sure won't. I would not buy a fleece tab again myself. YMMV

Slightly off topic, but dans technique draws a lot of interest, I would be interested in seeing either thru video or pic how you came about adopting dans anchor and two fingers under.
As far as felt, I'd pass. I was not a fan of it. Now a Saunders tab with a felt layer BETWEEN the face and palm material is great
Brian,
I will get a video together for you on the 2 under. It's incredibly comfortable.
Dan saw this thread and sent me a pm telling me to call him. I called him, he sent me some of this fleece AND one of his 2 under tabs for free. This tab is by far the best tab j have ever used. The fleece, after a couple hundred shots, is showing no sign of wear. I do think it will eventually wear out, but he did send me a 8x8" piece of the fleece.
Bottom line, Dan is a good man. I appreciate his generosity. I am more glad that he sent me a tab. ;)

Everything I have ever heard about Dan and his business is parallel to your experience Daniel.
Hope the tab works well for you. Looking forward to your video.
