I just traded for a Roy Hall Navajo 3pc T/D longbow in a 62" 50#@28 and all I can say it's one of best longbow's I've ever shot. It shoots better than me, it just works for me. Shoots unbelievable at 25 yards and nuts on, using GT 3555 trads cut at 29 1/4 with just plan old 12.8gr inserts with a 125gr tip with 5" feathers. I just can't say enough good about it. I called Mr. Hall this week and talked to him for a good while, what a nice gentleman, he said he made it 10 years ago. All he said was I got a one of the old good ones. Had to share, any one else got one?

I had one years ago. Wish I'd kept it.

I have one of Roy's Cherokee and one Apache and have to say that he is a master bowyer. Both were obtained second hand and he has been very helpful in helping me tweek them out.

Where's the pictures :)

I had a caddo. That is the one bow I sure wish I would have kept. Great bows and Roy is a great guy.

You're spot on with your thoughts on Roy. He is a genuinely nice guy. I have been shooting a Navajo Chief for over 10 years now. It just works. It's the only bow that I can pick up at any time and be able to make the shot from the first shot. I have taken 20+ big game critters with it in that time.
Congratulations on getting yours. I hope it serves you as well as mine has me.

I had one of his 2pc longbows. Great shooter. Wish I still had it.

I am lucky enough to have a number of great bows (Widow, Black Swan, and Hummingbird) and my Roy Hall Caddo 1pc longbow is one of my favorites. The bow just shoots great and is always smooth.
