While playing around last night, I tied a second nock point on the string below the arrow. My elbow already suffering from shooting too long prior to this, I haven't shot it yet. My new bow, shorter then any previous bows, is 56" and I draw it 28". Do you think the increased string angle, with 2 nock points, will pinch the arrow nock enough at full draw to create inconsistent flight?
Thanks for any input.
I prefer double nocks on short bows. I just leave a little wiggle room between them to avoid pinching.
If it does, just move it down 1/16" to 1/8" so that it does not pinch any more. The lower nock point should not be up against the nock anyway, but just a tad under, to prevent the pinch you are talking about from happening.

I put two nocking points on all of my bows, from 52" KMag to 66" longbow. It certainly doesn't hurt even with a perfect release (that does happen for me once in a great while) and for anything less than perfect, it most definitely helps.
I use 2 noc points on all my bows.
Not at all, do it all the time.
Yup.
Yep!
Reread the question and my answer should be nope.
I too use 2 nock points on all my bows
Besides, when you think about it, your fingers will be what is getting pinched, not the nocking points.
