Title: Quiver plans and etc.
Post by: monterey on December 24, 2015, 03:03:00 PM
First off, I am not a shill   :)

Was going through some of the leather crafting ideas on Tandy and came across this set of plans for archery equipment.  We see at least one post per week on "how do I build a quiver" and I thought some members might find this useful

  web page (https://www.leathercraftlibrary.com/p-1196-1909-archery-set-pattern.aspx)

There is one set there, maybe two.  I think most who make these will probably make only one but once they do they can probably make their own design.

Montery..
Get yourself a Lacing needle  1/8 round, You trim the leather lacing and screw the needle on the leather.
Basic rule if ya punch 1/8 holes keep that same distance from the edge of the Quiver.

I never heard that 1/8" suggestion before.  It's a good idea and I plan to adopt it.  I was not looking for plans for myself though, just throwing it out there because it comes up frequently.

I do build quivers and other items for archery and black powder pursuits, but I'm hooked on side quivers.
