A late bow season 2.5yr. old buck.
Big body, big head, and had a broken and healed front leg that I believe kept his rack from being more.
Thankful to have him!
It's been a tough season of highs and lows, battling warm weather, more changing winds than I've ever experienced, and very spooky deer!
The hunt was fully captured on film..."sometimes it's not about how big"

Congrats to you! Awesome deer!
Congrats!!! Very cool!
I love hunting animals that have something unique about them. I once had a spike come in at 10 yrds that had a spike on one side and it looked like a sweet gum ball on the other side. About the size of a golf ball with little stickers everywhere. Wanted him BAD but never got a shot and never saw him again.
Congratulations again!
Way to go bud!! That'll work!
I'm still looking! LOL
A nontypical spike would be cool, Randy!!
Great job Curt
Love it when you can see 'em from the stand. Way to go. Very nice buck. :clapper:
Nice shot and buck!
Good deal, Curt, congratulations! Doesn't look like the leg hurt his body size any.
That's awesome, bud. Congrats!
Very well done as always Brother!
Congrats! Those VPA 1-1/4" 3-Blade 250 grain heads are sweet, I'm a fan. Should be some great meat there, and a "good morning" was had for sure... Nice work! Bring on the video :campfire: :goldtooth:
Congratulations! Always nice to take a late season deer!

Congrats Curt! Nice buck!
I hear ya, tough year of highs and lows for me too. Let a lot of small bucks and does pass early season and now they have become scarce and the ones I do see keep busting me.
Great job Curt, I was wondering what took so long to post the pics. Great shooting( as usual). When I saw you and Cade and Dad at the golf course last week I felt like I was busted by my parents for skipping school. Have a nice holiday!
Congrats Guru, nice shot.
nice!!
How'd I miss this one???
Congrats Curt! I'd have to agree, this has been a different type of year in the woods. Limited movement and bizarre changing winds on most of my sits. Nice to see that our persistence and commitment does have it's rewards.
Merry Christmas buddy to you and your family!
Tim
