"It's not what a man sez, it's what he duz that counts" - not sure where I heard that."

Spudley. This was an easy one, the spelling gave it away.

Did I win a prize?

Dang Tom, you must be right.  The classical spelling gave it away.

As for the prize-- maybe  Spudley will loan you his wooden shoes for the squirrel hunt, I hear there may be a few water-hazards.

I know several wheelie shooters that are welcome in camp anytime they wish. I have run into a bunch more that I wouldnt hunt the same area they are in. One thing I know for sure is that if the anti-hunters are going to be defeated it will take a whole heck of a lot more than just uniting all the bow hunters...Paul

Longneck stuffed squirrel dusted with Tony's slow cooked on the Weber ain't bad either.  Wrap the head in aluminum foil though so the brains don't over cook.  You forgot that part Dean   :smileystooges:    :knothead:    :bigsmyl:  ...Van

I loved Granpa-What are we having for supper tonight?--Jones for more than his frailing banjo style. Sooner or later for some of us, it all comes down to the food.

Glad it came sooner for me, Dean.   :)

Granpa was proof that knowing how to cook is more important than looks.   ;)

"Sooner or later for some of us, it all comes down to the food."

Darned right.  Too old to chase the young girls, too ugly to attract them, can't see an arm's length anyhow, can't afford fast cars or old whiskey.  What's left?  Food.

As my Daddy used to say: "Kissin' wears out, cookin' don't."

I'd say "Dean T. for President", but he's too good a man for that office.

And knowing what to eat (and not eat) is more important than either.   :)

Come to Indiana this fall Joey and we trade us some recipes...yes?

"And knowing what to eat (and not eat) is more important than either."

Tom, how does one know such? Through tasting a little of everything? Granted, I'm reasonably sure crap is no good. Though lamb is as close to crap as I've most likely come. And I don't think even if I fried the crap outta crap it'd be worth trying. Even a taste.

Still I'm open minded and will have to try a taste of things before I think they aren't meant to eat(I tried lamb thrice before making that final decision).

"I will not eat lamb in my house, I will not eat lamb with my spouse. I will not eat lamb in the rain, if you say you like it, you're pulling my chain!"

Speaking of Indiana, remember that Dean Taylor song from the the early '70s? "Indiana wants me, Lord I can't go back there."
