2021 MTAR
« on: May 12, 2021, 09:40:55 AM »
FYI, at this time I am planning on having the MTAR at my place this year by Mankato unless something changes. I have 40 acres and room for camping and archery games. Early august some time.

I should post more attention to this area of trad gang. My Dad has the Slingshot Trophy.  Right now I don't know if he can make it or not,  he's having some trouble with his shoulder.  I will be there regardless, so the trophy will make it.

Awesome.     Are they bringing the Skunkpin set?
Have you spoken with Dave up in ND?   I used have his phone number, but it did not transfer over to the last phone I bought a few years ago.

I'm willing to do a bunch of cooking. I'll bring the Dutch ovens and their table. Let me know what meals!

I may be able to swing by friday night after work.
Saturday Mark and I are going to the Minnesota Archery Hall of Fame ceremony.  Paul Laven was supposed to be inducted last year, but because of covid everything was postponed.

This is great. How about Shane and Barry B?  Once we know numbers I can add food too.

Barry will try to make it but he is pretty busy. I believe his son will be there. Not sure about Shane but he knows about it.
Joe, Marion said she could make potato salad or sliders like last year. I have to hog hind quarters that you or I can make depending apon when you will be getting there. I have one of those big propane griddles and a small smoker. Which meal do you want to go for?

Any one that is coming on Friday or Saturday AM and can bring a target, we will add it to the 3D course. Feel free to think out of the box to make it fun, one of my targets is a big teddy bear.

Tod, I'll probably be getting there after meal time Friday evening so put me down for evening meal Saturday. I'll bring the entire meal from the farm, I'm thinking chicken. When you get an idea on how many people to expect please let me know. Thanks.

I think the breakfasts will be a team effort. I have one of those black stone gridles.
I will do Friday evening meal
I am putting Marion down for Saturday lunch with help if needed
Evening meal Saturday Joe - cast iron and charcoal
Sunday brunch on the Black stone.

I will get a better number of shooters closer to the date.

Pretty quiet around here.  Is this still on for next weekend?

Tod, would I be able to set up my tent near a power outlet so I can run a extension to my tent?
