2020 Foods
« on: January 08, 2020, 09:18:26 AM »
I know we have several people bringing and wanting to bring stuff, which is great!  We like to have a general idea of how we're going to do things. We typically eat burritos for breakfast, then we do our own thing for lunch (or eat left overs if we're around camp) as a lot of the time were not around camp.  Then we have a big meal for supper that's fit for kings!  Please let me know which day you'd like to do supper.

The planned meals are:
Thursday evening:
Friday Evening:
Saturday Evening:
Sunday Evening:

Randy: Brisket
Darren : Chili
Jacob: Etouffee
Me: Hog Meat
Dave: Sliders
Rick: Plates, cups, utensils, unlimited supply of chocolate chip cookies..

Let me know if i'm missing anyone..

Not a food group but I can bring all the bowls, plates and utensils.

Also, will bring along plenty of homemade chocolate chip cookies!
Never wait too long!

I can bring a big bowl of Potato salad and some banana pudding. If I need to bring something else that won't be a problem. This will be my first group hunt, I'm excited to say the least.

Personally,

I think some drinks would be good.  I will drink whatever(non alcohol).  I like water as well.

!!! CHILI UPDATE !!!

My freezer came unplugged and I lost everything in it. Including the massive amount of meat for the chili. OH NO!!!

Fortunately, I checked with the grocery store and they will sell me more. WHEW!!!

On a serious note, Randy and Kristi are burrito overachievers. However, there are more people in camp this year and we will be there more days. I am hereby declaring that Randy only plan for one or two (at most) morning(s) of burritos. So I suggest we each plan to provide our own breakfast the other days, unless someone else specifically wants to take care of another breakfast.

FWIW, not everyone will be eating breakfast as a few plan on commuting back and forth from their homes.  I also vote Randy to not bring a brisket.   Just focus on breakfast.  Briskets are pretty pricey and imo, we have enough evening food.

But anything would be fine to me.

Hate to hear about your freezer Darren and I concur about the breakfast burritos.
Also, agree with Daniel with regard to the brisket. Just saying!!
