I hear you about the Eland.  We ate some while there.  Actually all the game meat was great. 
I passed the first day on a nice Eland.  It was early and I didn't have it on my list.  Now I wish I had taken one.  Guess you can't shoot all the animals in one trip.  Have to save something for seed. ha

I have a friend that is headed to Namibia next week and another one that will be going in Sept.  Makes me jealous as I would like to go back again.  Maybe next year.
