I've only hunted SA twice and it is my understanding the rules on equipment are set by your safari company. I'd ask your PH.

Finley heard back from my Outfitter and from what he stated there is no regulations on broadheads.  So we are taking some American Stone to take African game.

Which Province are you coming to?
Each Province has its own hunting laws.

The outfitters take the risk and will generally give you the best advice to cover their behinds

I had an arrow with an Obsidian arrow head and one with Flint.  I was hunting with Dries Visser Safaris and they were really interested in how they would work.  Unfortunately I missed with both of them.

Just remember...if you draw blood, you just bought the animal.  An experiment to see how well stone heads perform could get real expensive real fast.
