Book

OldSoulMW:
Generally prefer books, but commuting an hour plus each way to work over the last few years has really got me hooked on audiobooks.

Kirkll,

Reach out to me if you'd like some help with publishing directly through Amazon. I'd be glad to share what I know.

Jimmy

Grew up before digital age and prefer books but the idea of using a Kindle intrigues me …

McDave:
I have three big bookcases in my house that are full of books.  They are as much a part of my life as the pictures on the walls.  I would miss them if they were gone.

However, the only new print books I have bought in the last ten years or so have been a few books that I thought might turn out to be classics, or books that I really need open in front of me when I use them, like cookbooks or language books, where writing my own notes in the margins is an important part of using them.

For entertainment, it's been almost entirely e-books, which I buy at the rate of one or two a month.  Actually, I wonder how much longer the e-books will be around.  My impression is that the younger generation doesn't read many books at all, preferring to get their entertainment from videos or video games.
