I've been in the garage this morning repairing some broken arrows and staining, cresting, fletching, and putting points on a few new ones. The Reparrow footings are great for fixing arrows that break near the point. I need plenty for next weekend, although there should be a half dozen or so of mine in the lost arrow bucket from last year.
I don't shoot too well, but at least the CTAS shoot gives me an excuse to build a few new arrows each summer and its fun to see some old friends and make a few new ones. Plus it's a great camping trip and get-a-way with my wife. She even shoots a few arrows out of her '62 Bear Kodiak recurve.
As for cell service, I can generally find enough service around the shoot to send a text or occasionally use my bluetooth device to talk to my mom or my kids with Verizon--but not always.
See you guys up there!
Mike
