Corps land at Lake Russel

Just curious, anyone here hunt the land around Lake Russell? Was camping last weekend at Calhoun Falls there was a couple guys there with boats hunting the corps land. Looked like something I need to try sometimes. Course that means I gotta get another boat.

I haven't done it personally, but like you saw, a good many people do. When my buddy was the head ranger at CFSP and we got to be friends with a local guy that only hunted Corp land via boat. He shot lots and lots of deer and pigs with a compound. That dude is one heck of an outdoorsman!
