Can you help me

I have a Herters Recurve Bow and i haven't had it off the bow rack since deer season. I took it down and put the string on it took it out to do some target shooting everytime i pulled the bow back to take a shot the string would pull to the side out of the string groove. Can anyone help me ? Thanks

It sounds like the limb is bent or crooked. Sometimes this can be fixed...

Unstring it and see if you can find where the bend is. Compare the bad limb with the other limb and look at it from all directions. Once you find the spot turn your sink on and hold it under hot water to heat it up while bending it back to where it should go. Possibly a little further past that. Have somebody turn off the hot water and hit it with cold water while you hold it. Hope this works.
