Veneers generally run .030 frt. and belly so.060 and a lighter wood (less mass weight) so the lighter wood veneers gonna be quicker. But your eyeballaint gonna see it.

Dont you mean reflex sweep Kirk If one limb is not way thicker than the other I say a bit more deflex before the reflex.

I think your full draw looks good. Unfortunately it took too much set and that means the belly cells are probably damages. You could try to clamp it to a reflex culm and use dry heat to temper the belly. This should help some if the belly damage isn't too bad.

I am not sure how the fiberglass wrap would  the metal but being its cover with leather might be easier to do and it shapes well also.
