Idaho black bear

Just checking on everyone's seasons so far.
Saw my first black bear in idaho. Only took 5 yrs.
 Nice black bear on the edge of a clear cut along an old skidded road in the berries.
 No shot but very exciting .  About 15 yds but he was gone in an instant.
 Otherwise season has been very slow.
 Haven't seen or heard an elk.
Not much in the way of deer either.
 How's everyone else
