Wildcat ridge

Went out sunday up at wildcatridge wma.
Snow was about 6-7" deep, difficult walking in it. Saw some does way out of range for a shot.
slipped and fell down 2 times sprained my knee.
At least I didn't damage my bow, but it wasn't
too bad of a day. I like going out in the snow
you get to see how the deer travel in certain areas.

Hope your knee is feeling better soon.  I had a similar experience at Black River last weekend.  Snow made it difficult to walk, but easy to see.  Had a doe and a nice sized fork-horn just out of range.  Couldn't have shot the fork in that zone anyway, but still exciting to watch.  The week before that I saw 2 coyotes right around daybreak - one of them had a beautiful silver-gray coat.
