I don't know how those folks down south and out west do it.

It's too hot to hunt!  I've only got so much time to hunt but man with it in the 80's and 90's I'm not out there casing whitetails.......come on October!!!!

Haven't been able to hunt anyway because I need someone to stay with my wife when I'm gone. I'm feeling sorry for those with limited time, especially the bear hunters, in this heat. Anybody gets out, good luck and be safe. Also post some pictures and stories for us "shut-ins"!

Made the mistake of trying to chase ducks this morning. Young birds, mosquitos, and sweating profusely in waders. So typical opener, but not my favorite weather. I can't wait for a good frost...
