Agree with all the above but the more I think about it during the shot the worse I shoot. I've tried every among style and none of them work for me, look at what I want to hit and shoot

Not everyone can get into complete linear alignment.  This can be particularly true for older and aging archers (me).  We do the best we can. 

Without a doubt, seeking coaching from a competent stickbow oriented recognized coach (hopefully with regards to Barebow) will be the most benefit to any and all archers.  There is absolutely nothing better than getting proper shooting instructions that are geared toward the unique physicality of each archer.

I just read this.  Trying to get in final form for an elk hunt and struggling some.  My thought process has been to come to anchor first, then align.  After reading this and aligning first, shooting is way more consistent.  Gotta practice this.  Amazing.
