Spring Turkey?

So I screwed up and didn't put in for a SW Oregon Spring bear tag this season, and it's the first year in several that I'll actually have time to hunt this spring. Anybody willing to offer advice on turkey? I've yet to hunt them, but figured this would be a good spring to give them a try.
