Terry,

Hmmm. Maybe the protection level on my rock is set too high. Did you catch the underscore, as in dl_sharp@ ?

Thanks to Trad Gang member Roger Gregersen for calling this service to my attention. I'll see if I can't get the word out that it's here for us.

Take care,
D

Yes, Boyd, this could come in pretty handy.

I won't be able to make the NWTF gig on Saturday; I have a date with a spaniel and some rabbits (actually... the rabbits might stand me up, but the dog is dependable).

If not sooner, I hope to see you in April at the Rock Shoot.

Stabow,
How was the turkey calling seminar at the Renton Gun Club? Good turnout?

Mr. Bahr,
How the heck are you? If you ever are headed for or returning from Alaska, get ahold of me and I'll swing over to the airport and buy you a cup of coffee.

Scotty,
You work too hard.

Doin' pretty good, how about yourself, Dale?  I'll take the cup of coffee, but if I'm passing through on the way TO Alaska, I would rather have you swing over to the airport and get on the plane with me.  How is your much older brother doing?  Haven't heard a peep from him in a couple of years...

I am doing fine, Kevin. Oldest daughter is in her first year of college and my bady girl is a junior in high school. So I am finding new, more creative ways to get to the poor house.

A trip to Alaska is a dream of mine.

The brother is doing good. He came out here to hunt wapiti last fall and found himself looking down the arrow at a good bull; the result was a deflection and a clean miss (though the sapling he center-punched with a Woodsman will grow up with a healthy scar!). He failed to spot the branch in the shadowy conditions created by timber and overcast skies. I love getting to hunt side by side with him, but we don't get enough of that with the geographical distance between us. He'll be retiring soon so I hope to see more of him in the northwest woods.

He had whitetail success the following couple of months, filling four tags in the old home state, with the eastern state tag going on another dandy buck.

Presently I suspect he is all dreamy-eyed about the approach of turkey season, which is nearly as fun for him as hunting rutting bulls. He lurks around TradGang occationally, and turkey talk is one of the few things that will lure him out of his hole.

Take care,
Dale

Hi Rich,

I think it'll make the newsletter in the form of a "notice" but not much more. What we could use is an article about Tradgang to put in the newsletter so newbies would know what it is all about. The deadline for the next issue has passed, but there is plenty of time for getting it into the Summer issue. MIght you have time to write a little ditty about it? If so, please do. It would be a great service.
