I am doing fine, Kevin. Oldest daughter is in her first year of college and my bady girl is a junior in high school. So I am finding new, more creative ways to get to the poor house.
A trip to Alaska is a dream of mine.
The brother is doing good. He came out here to hunt wapiti last fall and found himself looking down the arrow at a good bull; the result was a deflection and a clean miss (though the sapling he center-punched with a Woodsman will grow up with a healthy scar!). He failed to spot the branch in the shadowy conditions created by timber and overcast skies. I love getting to hunt side by side with him, but we don't get enough of that with the geographical distance between us. He'll be retiring soon so I hope to see more of him in the northwest woods.
He had whitetail success the following couple of months, filling four tags in the old home state, with the eastern state tag going on another dandy buck.
Presently I suspect he is all dreamy-eyed about the approach of turkey season, which is nearly as fun for him as hunting rutting bulls. He lurks around TradGang occationally, and turkey talk is one of the few things that will lure him out of his hole.
Take care,
Dale
