Elk in the Fort Peck Region Help!

I am coming out to hunt whitetail in eastern Montana and ended up getting a combo deer/elk tag.I tacked on a few days vacation time and i was told by my outfitter that Fort Peck had a lot of Elk.Any info on the area would be a great help.

If you drew a tag now you got to draw a permit. what area are you thinking
