is hunting a right or a priviledge in your state?

It depends on who you are asking; both factually and legally.

For some Native Americans that come from Reservations that have a Treat with the federal govt'; hunting is a right and not a privilege.  The Salish Kootenai Tribe is one prime example.

The remainder of us, it is a privilege.
I enjoy being a traditional archer!!

Interesting question..

Where I lived most of my life (Arizona), hunting is more of a privilege. You are very lucky to find yourself on good hunting grounds..or you have the money to make it happen.

My family and I made the choice to move somewhere that hunting/fishing and access to,  is a right (Montana). But, even here, that right seems to be under attack from people who think they can force their views on us. It is a sad time here. If politicians, and special interest groups have their way here, we will lose that right.

I'm of the opinion that it is a privilege. Too much land that is "public" is landlocked and a lot of the other land that is private you can't get access to. If you can get access to any of this it is definitely a privilege.
