Moose Creek Shoot 2011
« on: June 24, 2011, 12:21:00 AM »
Here is a copy of the email I received earlier this week from Rex.  The shoot is open to everybody who shoot traditional longbow, recurve, and/or selfbows.

TBM Members,

Update on the TBM shoot.

The shoot will be July 22, 23 and 24th at Moose Creek group use area 32 miles south of Bozeman on 191.  Same routine as normal.  Several of us will show up Thursday night and the setup of targets will be done Friday morning.  All help with the set up would be appreciated and make the shoot that much more enjoyable.  The fun shoot will continue all day Saturday with a TBM meeting in the afternoon and a potluck dinner to follow.  We plan to auction off some of the old target inventory so bring money.  Sunday morning the shooting will continue with the range being taken down mid day.

Here is a link via google maps.

Directions are:  Travel 25.6 miles south of Four Corners Montana outside of Bozeman on I-191 and turn left on Moose creek rd #479.  Drive East up Moose creek road 479 approx 2 miles to the site of the camping, bowshooting and other fun.  The road may be hard to travel with low clearance vehicles but if you are careful you may make it with a car.

More updates to come via email as they are available...

See U dare..

Rex Rogers
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.
