Dave,

I feel guilty every time I post a story and don't have pics.  Wish you could be here to capture your own.  Sorry I can't help any.  I would if I could.

Duane,
No problem but thanks for letting me know. I still like to read the stories so keep them coming.

Here's a phone camera pic of the does that didn't come into range.  I have film of a three pointer that came right under me but didn't bring the camera to work.

It sounds like a lot of folks are going to be eating beef this season.   :biglaugh:

Here are a couple of views from the "big boy" stand.
This one is of where I missed a 4 pointr last month, he was standing at the end of my arrow, about 8 yards.

This is of where I passed on a 3 pointer this morning. He was broadside on the near side of the horizontal grey log. About 10 yards. He was lucky today but in trouble if does that again.

Jack,
Looks like you have a great place to hunt. The  pictures make me feel like I'm in the stand. All we need now is the same picture with "Big Boy" laying on the ground.

Dave I saw "Big Boy" every time I hunted that stand early in the season but have not seen him in quite awhile. Firearms season starts Saturday, I can only hope. I will hunt there again tomorrow evening and Friday morning then Friday evening I will try to make it 3 from the same tree this year. It almost happened the other day, a doe followed by a 4 point was coming on the trail to pass me at 6 yds, same trail both bucks have been shot on this year, but she turned off just before she got there and I couldn't turn. I could only watch as they walked off.

Not me, fortunately my buddy and my Dad have both killed deer (3 so far) so my freezer is full ATM.  I just haven't done anything to fill it but butcher.   :(
