Getting Skunked!
« on: October 10, 2012, 02:12:00 PM »
This is turning into a rough hunting season. I have had 4 sits in the mountains now and have yet to even see a deer  :banghead:  Yesterday evening I even hunted my "honey hole" stand that I always keep in my back pocket and only hunt it when things are slow at my other places. And still got skunked. People are telling me about seeing rut activy and all the acorns and I ain't seeing squat! Hope you guys are having better luck than me.

Hope you have better luck soon.  The more I hunt the luckier I get.    :D

If it was easy, everyone would hunt with traditional tackle.

Personally, I just enjoy being out in the woods.  As for Jen and I... well, we're still eating chicken.   :(
