Respecting our public land
« on: April 14, 2009, 10:36:00 PM »
During a recent turkey hunt, at Gifford Point in Bellevue. I couldn't help but notice, all the trash left behind by our fellow hunters. Water bottles ,Hot Hands wrappers, empty Tink's 69 bottles, but the kicker was a Dick's Sporting Goods plastic bag stuck in a tree. This kind of behavior gives us all a bad name. Just because it's public, it doesn't make it OK to throw your **** on the forest floor the rest of us are trying to hunt on. Just blowing off steam: Tic.

I couldnt agree more! I hate heading out into the woods for a relaxing day and seeing nothing but trash!
Its not the size of the animal you hunt that matters. Its how you hunt the animal.
