NALS 2023

I heard that Alberta has volunteered to host the 2023 NALS. Does anyone know what club stepped forward or where in the Province it is to be held?

Well the latest posting on the Rocky Mountain Longbow group (Dave Iredale) on Facebook states that they are having a hard time in finding a venue to hold the NALS shoot.

Given the late timing and amount of work and planning to host such an event, I would not hold my breath in seeing the shoot take place this summer. Lets hope that it can still take place.

The shoot went well and the weather was great. There were two courses of 30 targets each. On A course you could use broadheads.

There were people from California, Oregon, Nebraska, Arizona, Washington and Idaho. Also there were a couple of young fellows that came from Pincher Creek to shoot. One of them won the bowbird event!

Oh yeah...all the salmon you could eat too.
