Pretty quiet here.
Hunting has changed as of last week. The deer are starting to move and scrapes are in.
Saw to does and a buck at dark last night. Hoping to get out a bunch this weekend. (gun opener)

High water flooded the river bottoms where I hunt, after the water went down I got out a couple of times before firearms season....saw one buck late but at the wrong angle and distance.....we'll see what happens around Thanksgiving....may take the young one squirrel hunting instead....

I got out twice after Halloween, saw two does first day and nothing on 2nd day. Won't go again until muzzleloader guys are done and by then they are usually grouped up, so I'll see nothing or ten together.

Was out first two Saturdays of rifle season. Have my blind on a small field of corn stubble. Saw quite a few Nov. 4, but came into field on "wrong" trails. Last Saturday only had one doe on field too far away. My brother said deer had quit coming into corn and were out in the green fields more that week. Hoping to get out some more later if the snow doesn't get too deep. Good luck to the rest of you still hunting!

November 27th and 60 degrees in Mankato. This might be an odd year for their feeding patterns.
Some things are still green and nothing is covered with snow.
I haven't seen anything big yet. I am hunting in Arden Hills on the 9th so after that anything can go in the freezer.

Jacob got a bear in September with his bow and we put a couple gun deer in the freezer but no deer with the bow yet.
