Stick and String Turkey

Got notice that I got a fall turkey permit. I am anxious to get into the woods and chase these things around.

Question is: Is the fall hunt basically a spot and stalk or ambush type hunt versus the spring when calling is done?

Can, I spot and stalk or ambush. If you know where they will be during the day, like in a field or feeding somewhere thats where i would set up. I mostly get a fall tag just incase they wonder through while i'm deer hunting.
