Title: Where to shoot this year!
Post by: GameMaster on March 07, 2006, 04:06:00 PM
I thought it would be a good idea if members might give a message on what current shoots are going on in their area. On March 11 and 12 we are holding the Lakeshore Bowhunters League 3-d at the Racine Instinctive Bowmen's club. It features divisions for both longbow and recurves. It is a 2 arrow shoot with 30 targets. Also traditional shooters shoot 28 yards or less and is open to the public. Mapped directions to the club are on the  www.ribarchery.com (http://www.ribarchery.com)  website. See you there!

Great! Looking forward to seeing you there. Being it's one of the first shoots of the year we should have a good tun out. Get rid of the cabin fever and shoot! Shane.

Shane,  Great shoot!!  Debbie and I, along with the other Big Foot members we shot with, had super time.  Our LBL is next month, April 22/23.  Also, our annual Traditional shoot is May 13/14.  Hope to see you then.  And by all means, if any of you other WTA members are free those weekends, come out and join us.

Bob

Bob, That is the problem with the spring shoots - I would love to go, but they always seem to fall on a turkey weekend for me.
I have a tag for your 1st shoot, and my nephew has one for the second.
I'll try to make one yet this year!!!!!!

Can anyone tell me if there are any traditional shoots within an hour or two of Prairie du Chien?  I've never been to shoot before and want to, but with gas prices being what they are I can't justify traveling further right now.

Sparta has had a nice shoot the past couple of years in April. Someone I talked to at the Deer & Turkey show said they thought there was one scheduled but didn't know the dates.
