Hi Robert!
I'm a greenhorn and I'll be doing my best to make it to the shoot as an observer and start to learn the ropes so to speak.

The work day on Friday(tomorrow) starts at 1pm. A lot of the work is bringing the targets out of the enclosed trailers, putting them on utility trailers to distribute thru out the awesome Canyons property, setting up the targets, pushing shooting stakes in the ground, setting up a warm up bag target range by the parking area and a few more tasks. There will be a few people who have done this before and they will guide you thru the process. You will see some old friends there and make some new ones too. You will want to layer some clothes, its cooler down in the bottoms and warmer up on top..Its called "the canyons" for a reason. Your help will be greatly appreciated!!!

The Canyons Zipline property where the Charity shoot is held is just North of Ocala..It is maybe 1/2 mile East of I-75 and Hwy 326 intersection. Most of us that live nearby call the road "Gainesville Road" or Old 441.. The Canyons ZipLine property is located aprox 250 yards North of the 326 and Gainesville road intersection.

Unfortunately, I've got some responsibilities that will keep this new guy from attending and getting some much needed pointers from the veteran Archers. I did however, get a chance to spend a few hours helping setup the course yesterday and I'm happy that I did! Really good bunch of folks who I hope to spend some time shooting with in the near future.

Sorry to hear you were unable to attend. I am sure your help setting up the range was much appreciated. I would say there were at least 150 shooters and a few spectators.  The parking area was very full upon our arrival.

Thanks Robert! That'd be ok but not necessary.  I just wanted to show my wife what the course looked like. I should have snapped a few pictures when I was there...

Kevin sometimes takes pics..I'm sure others did too..I usually take a few so my wife can check her form during and after the shot, I just grip it and rip it..  :archer2:
