No just laminated bamboo and one macassar ebony veneer (broke the other one while fine sanding it)

I will try to cut it out during the week

That is some radical curves you got coming off the riser... I am very curious to what she is gonna look like at brace... Good Luck Brudder...

Looks like a sauna. You could have a nice sweat and cook a bow at the same time

It’s a sauna indeed. I didn’t build an oven yet and the sauna works fine for that purpose.
The baow isn’t cut to length yet there will be a bit less reflex.
The hole in the riser was just part of shaping the handle

Hi there,
I roughed out the handle yesterday. I checked the tiller with a length of 62" (I was affraid of the bow coming in too heavy. But it actually came pretty close). Tiller was way off! So I played a little around untill I got something fairly even.
Today I am gluing tips reinforcement and then will cut to the final length of 60".

Looking good! Question for you. You said the tiller was way off, are you guys making tiller adjustments by removing material off the sides of the limbs, as to not loose too much fiberglass off the belly?
