Our Friend Ron W has passed
« on: May 17, 2018, 09:50:45 AM »
Former TBOF President Ron W has passed. I don't know any details. Ron and Barbara are the people who got me interested in Trad archery 25 years ago. Ron was a awesome shot and a good friend to many of us.

Damn, been out of the TBOF loop for a while and just read this, so sad. Ronnie was probably the best bowhunter I've ever met and as fine a man as anyone could know. I didn't know him as long or as well as many of the TBOF old timers, but I had a lot of great conversations with Ronnie and hunted with him a few times at Joe Budd too. We had a great time and true to form Ronnie killed a deer. He definitely left us way too soon.

I have a set of Ron's Rattling Horns. I'm gonna use them this year and see if I can bring a good Florida buck in close.

that's awesome Rob, if Ron had his hands on them there's got to be some good mojo workin' there. Good luck. - eric
