Noticed no one has posted in a while. Just wanted to keep NYTB active. My deer season was cut short before it started due to an illness in the family. Things have leveled off a bit so I've been stumpin and a little 3d now and then at Cos Cob archers with MCgroundstalker. What about you all?

I've been picking up some sheds, scouting new properties,  and with the help of fellow TG member longrifle I've been building my first longbow.

training my Drahthaar puppy in preparation for his VJP test later this month....trying to trap some coyotes and raccoons on property....working food plot fields, repairing rifle stands for my father....but most of my time has been with exposing this new pup to tracking, pointing, retrieving, gunfire, water, etc.....and working property that famiy got 20 months ago into something we can enjoy.

Just starting to ease into shooting again. Had some shoulder issues with my bow arm. Some anti inflammatory medicine and PT seem to be working. I also spent the last couple of months doing a frame off restoration on a 43 year motorcycle. Started a new hickory selfbow last

Traffic on this forum has been somewhat stagnant post deer season. Let's make an effort to keep things current. Glen

Snow blowing!  Actually this winter has not been too bad as far as snow.  I can't wait for spring so I can get out and shoot a little.  There are no indoor ranges near me.

I hear ya Ron. We got 33" officially Tuesday but 36 @ my house. Spent lots of time shoveling. Hoping to snow shoe up @ my property this weekend. Anybody planning the rock wood stump shoot yet for April???

Rockwood really hasn't been discussed yet.  Does anyone know if that area got much snow?

Kenny is fighting his shoulder injury and will be unable to pull a bow for a long time.  Ron W is in Florida recovering from surgery, so I'm not sure if he could make it there, much less shoot a bow.  Keep both in your thoughts and prayers, everybody.

If anyone wants to start making plans for the shoot, I'm all in, although I have been working on week-ends, occasionally.  Always a great time with even better folks to shoot with.

Adirondak Ken is probably the best bet to get info for the rock wood stump shoot. They did get hit pretty good from the storm. Will have to try to get ahold of him.
