2015 Seasons

I didn't know they were posted yet but they are similar or identical to last year. Northern zone archery will still be the last weekend of September. Sounds like a good opportunity for another TBONY outing.   :campfire:

We set up camp about a quarter mile down this lane.  Which was about 13 miles in on a gravel, seasonal road.  Pretty remote!  And quite a few grouse running around.

[/QUOTEDang Glen, Im not 100% sure what tag is good for that weekend.  I have to look into it more because I used both regular bow/gun tags but if I can't hunt deer Ill go for bear and grouse and just hanging out in the mountains. Be great if you could get up there with us.

Great pics Ron, they bring back memories. You know Im in too. Its looking like a busy year for hunting!

I'm pretty sure we cannot use last years tags any more during early bow.  Licenses are now good from Sept. 1st to August 31st the following year.  So we'll have to use 2015 tags during the early bow season.  I think this sucks and I sure hope I am wrong...

I'm headed there this weekend camping with my wife.  hope the fish are biting.

Beautiful place for sure.

If I read the rules correctly I believe Ron is right about the tags.

Last year's weather was absolutely fantastic. A little warm for deer huntin' but perfect weather to be outdoors.

A great weekend on Cedar River.

saw 3 deer and a few nice trout. The dumbest of all the deer was a spike buck who wants to get shot. tried to get his picture but all 5 came out blurry.

saw a family of baby grouse in the road and the momma.

Picked a hat full of wild blueberries and was surprised at how many elderberry plants there were still in bloom.

weather couldn't have been better.

Sounds like a good trip Charlie. Seems to be a few interested in another camp/hunt. The mountains call is getting louder everyday. See you all up there soon.
