Hello from Bossier City
« on: July 23, 2014, 02:53:00 PM »
Hi everyone. I used to shoot recurve bow and then a compound 30 years ago. So now my granddaughter wants to shoot a bow as well as me. I will be getting her something for a 9 year old and for me something simple and cheap to start out with in a 25-30# recurve or longbow and then maybe getting something a lot better. Any way look forward to talking and maybe meeting up in the furture.

Ron,

that sounds like a great idea!  Let us know if you need any help finding her a bow!  if she is 9, i'd bet her draw weight would need to be about #15.  My nephew is 9 and he draws about #22.
