I live in Gonzales and work in Metairie.  I hunt a few of the area management areas.  There is a good traditional club in Baton Rouge, the Amite River Traditional Archery Club.  They run some good 3d shoots and it a great group of people.

Hey Joe,

I think the club shoots are gonna start again next year.  Pretty much done for this year with hunting season in full swing.  Here is the ARTAC link:

Don't know what part of NOLA you are in, but there is a really nice 3D range in Belle Chase, LA.  It's across the river on the west bank.  Here is the link:

Welcome!

Trip, actually was out killing time the other day and drove past SLO. Never knew it was there and saw the sign as I was turning onto Buccaneer RD. Just checked their website, and looks nice.

Hey, I'm planning to do some traditional archery hog hunting in the Pearl River WMA in mid-January 2013. Full disclosure: I've never been there. I'm really in the local knowledge/research stage. Aiming to do a swamp boat tour on 13 Jan, and then hunt 14-15 Jan. There are local butchers nearby that can process wild game.  --Andy (in Burke, Virginia)
