Today I sold my two Onieda compound bows. One, I hunted with for over a decade and the other was a backup. For what it's worth, I shot it instinctively off the shelf. I have bounced around a lot in my 40 years bowhunting. I had hunted with a longbow, compounds but took most of my animals with a Blackwidow recurve. I'm not totally sure why I switched back and forth so much but looking back, I had way more fun with my recurve. It's a great feeling to be back, shooting totally trad. Sometimes, I felt like I was on another planet, in a no-man's land. I wasn't really a trad guy or a compounder. I didn't fit in any where.
