Any trad groups/individuals in NE TN/Greene Co area?
« on: August 24, 2015, 02:48:00 PM »
Seems most of the action and activities are in Central TN...

Anything up this way toward Greene County??

Individual contact welcomed or groups/clubs?

Shoot me an email or ...?

I wrote to them, Pappy...Thanks

Their website directions say to get off at Crossville...that's in Central TN... hour and a half West of Knoxville and I'm hour and a half EAST of Knoxville in Greene County (Greeneville area)

I have a friend just past Crossville so I've been there and that's 3 hrs hard driving and then North a ways to where YE OLD Fartes are...

And I sold my camper before I moved here... doh!  :(

Yep you are way east, I am in middle and you are welcome to visit if you ever get in the area, TwinOaks is between Nashville and Clarksville off I24W so a good ways from you. I don't know of anyone in your area but I am sure there has to be some, good luck on your search.

Thanks for the invite Pappy...

I have an invite as stated near Crossville...but that is a 3hr hoof and around Knoxville, yet!

I went around Knoxville once on a Friday afternoon with about 1000 of my closest new friends doing 70mph door handle to door handle...

Reminded me of doing the 695 Beltway around Baltimore back East...

Takes time I guess to meet people... but at this point in life, time is not something I figure I have a lot of to spare...Knee replacement looming and I'd hoped to get out and about some before that happens this winter, but might only make one outing...over to Crossville to hunt with a young man in Trad there...

Just thought it might pay to visit this forum and give it a shot!

Thanks, Pappy!

You might want to check with the Big Pine archery club, they're in Erwin about 35 minutes from you.
If you Google the name you should come up with a contact e-mail.
