Speaking of starter kits,we plan on having a tough man 5 target shoot this year and I have donated a Yew bow starter kit, everything you will need to build your own Yew bow.Draw knife/scrappers/tillering stick and string, tip over lay/leather for grip, also enough supplies to build 12 can arrows/feathers and all. All you have to do is shoot the top score on the 5 target course,so that kinf of leaves me out of a chance of winning  :knothead:  I am headed there about noon so come on anytime. See yall in a few days.

Hope to attend again this year
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

Just made hotel rez in case of rain, you know it never rains at Twin Oaks.....  :readit:

If not we are going to hobo it with RobTattoo or someone else and stay Sat night. I will take some good pics of Mason's graduation table Friday night with all his Trad Archery items throughout his 18yrs on display. Most of them came from Twin Oaks, guess we spent most of that time there, gee..... I wonder why....  :campfire:

Many thanks and a tip of the hat to the entire Twin Oaks Team.....  :notworthy:

It was our first time back in a few years and I told Mason after 15mins of being in that holler under the workshed that my blood pressure had dropped already !!! What a place and what folks that share it with us all. Means more to us than I could ever put a pen and paper to.

Sure hope we can spend the entire 4 days next year since I got all my chicks graduated and about to fly now. It was so good to see all our friends and make new ones too.
