LBL first quota gun hunt over
« on: November 10, 2012, 08:07:00 PM »
Raring to get back into the woods here at LBL now that the orange Army are leaving......131 deer killed at last count tonight at 6:30 p.m. when I left the South welcome station.... this is the TN side. The weights were down with the largest deer weighing in the 170 lbs. range..... Counting on this next week to be a good one--what am I saying,,,,a day in the woods is ALWAYS a good one!

Good luck to you Roger.  The ONLY thing i miss about west Tn is LBL!!  No offense to my western brethren  ;)

You know you have a standing invitation if you ever wanna get up this way.  Plenty of room, just bring your bow and appetite!

I got in a 3 day hunt right before the gun hunt.  me and my buddies all had close encounters.  I had a 140 class 30 yards out and got busted.
Great place.  Will be back there before the season ends.
