That picture of Kaylee looks great Ethan, great first deer and nice shot placement.

The deer was killed on some property that Phil owns that he graciously let Ethan and his daughter hunt on, out of his personal shooting house. I actually killed my first deer (circa 1986, a one point/unicorn-horn) about 100 yards from the spot that she's at in the picture.  Of course that was a long time before Phil and I ever bought property in that area and everyone thought that it was just a part of the state forest.

Neat memories. Also killed my deer #3 (circa 1988) just a bit farther down the same powerline.

Oh and your deer was OK too Ethan... congrats on getting the last one you needed for PBS. Though I don't know how "perfessional" you are....

Good season, need to get Stanley in on the action.

Nice bow Ethan! Sorry, I missed the deer. Which headlight did you have to replace this time?

You sure those type of kills count for PBS, David?

Kaylee, way to go! I'm proud of you and thank the good Lord that you look like your Momma!

"Which head" light says the possum cop!!  It was a tail light cause I was backing up!!  Shows how much you know!!  :D

Alex,  I think Ben and Samuel's pics will be a little different.  Knowing David and his Dad both, I suspect much more carnage in those pics!!  :biglaugh:

Ethan, I just showed Kaylee's picture to my Ethan!  That is a great photo and you better put a copy in the safe deposit box, cause that is a treasure to keep forever!  I'm still trying to work my Ethan up for his first deer hunt.  He shot a .410 over spring break and bloodied his nose, but when I asked if he wanted to shoot it again, he said, "Yeah."  But he must be a bowhunter at heart, his first comment about Kaylee was, "It'd be REALLY cool if she shot it with a bow!"  Gotta love our kids, eh?

OKay...ya'll didn't say it had to only be deer.
Here's a shot of a critter that kept eating my tomcat's food on my back porchdeck. I couldn't get a shot on him until last night.....pinned that one down to the deck, he gave it up in 5 min. Then the work came....yuk!!! he had stuff coming outta both ends!!! washed my deck today!!! He was really heavy to, been eating well for awhile!!!!! While I was taking him off to the woods, saw a skunk headed towards my porch!!!!!  :scared:  I dropped that critter and ran yelling back to my door and shut it....later on a quick peak showed he was gone.     Gotta find a better place to feed my outside tomcat!!!!!  :saywhat:

nope I didn't wanna cook it for supper.......  :archer:

Dang Tomi, did you have to give him a vasectomy also?

I don't know that I'll ever take you up on any invite to come over and eat a bite of supper.

Good eatin??  Huh...I'll eat a lot of things but I don't think that I would be interested in that..but ya never know I guess.

I finally got a shot at a deer last weekend and dang does a 160 grain Snuffer hit hard.  It really burried up in that tree...lolol..Took twenty minutes to dig it out.
