I was talking to Allen Kline a few days ago.  He and I are talking about going up Friday and coming back down Saturday evening.  Or, maybe it will only be for Saturday.  Not sure yet.

Last year was my first time going there and I hope to go every year from now on.

Howdy folks, this link will take you to the right place.

It's a good time; plenty o' venders, food, camping, some hotels in the area, demonstrations, sometimes build-a-longs. There is usually a blanket sale at one time or another so bring something to sell or trade. Kids shoots, target butts, and did I mention venders? Most will allow you to shoot what they brought. Bring a camper, tent, or as I did one yr, a van.

baltimore is just a great shoot plenty of camping, great people and more targets to shoot at than you could hope for. All the targets are set up in the woods and it is just a beautiful walk even if you don't shoot. My personal favorite is the grizzly bear in the creek. Hope you go you wont regret it this will be my fourth year going.

Been up there the past several years and it has become one of my favorite shoots. I will be in there around noon on Friday and pull out early Sunday.

Yup, it would!

This is a VERY family kind of event! I have so many great memories gathered from my years of attending.

Only one bad memory...a graybearded coot locked me out of the ladies' room one morning so that he could take a shower in there. The wuss.
I think he's dead now.

Well the wife had to go to the hospital by ambulance on the prior Sunday, was there until Friday. She's fine now.  Needless to say I had to miss it.
Please post pics if you were there.
How was the weather?

I guess I'll try for ATAR.

Just got back in last night.  Once again, it was an awesome shoot!  Good crowds, good courses and tons of good food around the campfire.  Fridays' weather was hot and humid but it colled down enough where your sleeping bag felt pretty good that night. Saturday was nice and overcast and a good day to shoot. I ended up shooting all three 30 target courses that day. It started raining lightly Saturday evening and cut the campfire sessions a little short. That night it POURED down. Wind and rain til I thought the tent may collapse. All of the tents in our groups developed at least a small leak. Sunday started out drizzly but cleared up into a pretty day.

One downer though. Someone went out on the courses Saturday night in the rain and stole five of the big targets from the Baltimore Bowmen. Those guys were pretty upset Sunday morning.
