First 3-D shoot
« on: February 21, 2009, 07:43:00 PM »
First Tx to, Bill, Darrel, and Allen.
I went to my first 3-D shoot today at Dixie Bowman.
It was great fun, I have to say it is hard to hit them targets, After I finished there was a whole lot of 3 legged animals running around.

Bob it was great fun. I think you did well for a short timer!! Now the obsession can really begin!!!

Let me know if I can help set up that new bow if you get it.

Bob/Joe-Absolutely enjoyed it; you both did great.  Looking forward to seeing you both next month.  We must begin planning our strategy on how to get Allen's Silvertip into his hands ASAP  :saywhat:  I know a guy, who knows a guy.....maybe a little "visit" to the Windauer's would be useful......  :bigsmyl:

Hey Doc, you know it's not too late for me to change it to a take down longbow!!! LOL

Although if you could get it done quicker I make make the sacrifice and keep it as a recurve. Sure was fun shootin' that ACS yesterday. I think I may keep it for a while......well maybe.

Go ahead Allen, get the recurve.  Those longbow boys can't handle the heat!  ;)

I'm gonna practice some more and be ready when the Silvertip gets here.

Bob/Joe, you guys both shot great.  Hope to see you both again real soon.

I'm going to work hard to break 200 next shoot. So at that rate maybe in 4 months I can give Allen a run for his money. Or I will make some heavy arrows like his and let him carry them again. If not I'm going to get me a fog horn in a can.

Allen,
I'm going to try very hard. I may have a job I hope. If so I wont make it. As soon as the bow gets here I'm going to look you up for a day to get it set up.
