Hey Ron,

That is the same date that the Roanoke Valley Traditional Bowmen have scheduled a squirrel hunt down here. Maybe we can have a little friendly competition with you guys. We both know how unlikely it is that anyone will actually kill a squirrel so how about which group looses the most arrows or something?

Randy, Sounds like a plan. LOL  I sure hope the weather cooperates. How many folks you guys expecting at the Roanoke shoot?   Best of Luck to you all.

Don't know yet. I am sure a lot of it will depend on the weather. The R.V.T.B. have a get together once a month and can have anywhere from 6-8 up to 28-29.

Tom, I got a big Doe yesterday evening. My season was EXCELLENT!!!  If this coming season will be half as good I will be happy...  I won't hunt any squirrels until you all get here.  May hunt some at the club but will leave these here for the skwerl hunt.  Hope everyone had a great season so far.

Killed 5 does this year, never saw any bucks I wanted to shoot, all small ones. Maybe this fall it will be different.

I tried to get leave for the tenth, but it was disapproved. I will try for the 24th.

Ron- what time are we meeting. Probably will be bringing two valley friends as well. Starting on some of that foul jerky this weekend also.

I was thinking around 8 to 8:30 AM. Is this too early?
My addy is 20760 Jackson Lane if anyone needs to Mapquest or put it into a gps.

It would be helpful to get a headcount on those that are coming for sure. Need to know how much food to have!    :saywhat:

 Thanks

Denied.
And they wonder why we climb towers.
I put in leave slips today for May. If these are disapproved...I quit!
