Tannehill Shoot - Aug 4 & 5
« on: July 30, 2007, 03:29:00 PM »
Hey Bama Shooters whose going to Tannehill this weekend? I'm thinking about driving up from Pensacola and bringing my two kids for a get away before school starts in a few weeks. Anyone else going?

Where do I get more info on this shoot? I went to the web site and it is too general. Do you have to pre register? what are the fees? Can non residents participate? etc.?
Thank you, BigJim

No pre-registering required! Just show up and pay $25 bucks for all the shooting you want. I am camping in a tent with my two kids. Free dinner Saturday night with a restaurant on the park grounds. There is a nominal fee for entering the park, I believe. See you there.

You do not have to pre-register but you can if you wish. The cost is $25.00 single weekend rate, $45.00 family weekend rate or $7.00 per round. There will be a BBQue dinner on Saturday night with a coon shoot and door prizes. Range hours are 7-5 on Sat and 7-2 on sun.. Also the Furnace Masters restaurant is open and the food is good. You can get a vehicle pass so that you only have to pay the park entrance fee once. Look forward to seeing everyone at the shoot.

Great shoot! A little hot in the tent, but otherwise a perfect set-up at Tannehill. Will be back next year. My two kids loved it.
