How many NE Trads have given to ST. Judes
« on: March 28, 2010, 12:35:00 AM »
Have you been watching the BobW post on PowWow concerning the St. Judes fund?
Have you given your dollar yet?
Doesn't take much to help this great cause along.
I urge you to read the post and remind everyone you know how much can be done to help.
It's for the kids.

I gave in December while visiting my daughter and son in law in Nevada.  Plan on doing it a couple times a year.  Great cause!

Craig,
I appreciated your PM. Stump shooting gets a tad tough out here after the natural grass and weeds start growing. Early Spring and Late Fall is absolutely beautiful.
I've not yet visited the range in GI but am tempted to walk in someday with a variety of old bows and couple dozen cane and wood arrows.
Even at my age I'm still a bit of a rascal.
Now if I could get all 11 of those grandkids tailing me in, bow in hand, now that would be a picture.

Fred,
Spent all day yesterday and the day before helping out at the Game and Parks Expo in Kearney - had a lot of 4th, 5th, and 6th graders shooting 3D targets.  Always fun - even thought I'm dog tired when I get home.

Have one more item I'm going to donate to St. Judes - have a 1978 Bear (walking bear) tie tack/lapel pin.  Just haven't had time to get a good photo of it.  That will make 4 items for this year's auction.  Did you see the listing for the Little Delta Sourdough Starter??

Craig,
Great job you did helping out. Wish I could have made it over. No Saturdays off for me anymore, but I did manage to pull Sunday, Monday.

Saw the tie tack this morning as I keep a close watch on all of the listings coming in.

I'll definitely be bidding on the Little Delta Sourdough Starter. My little Sis has a good one but I keep forgetting to have her send it.

I've got to get busy with the camera. Only item I've posted so far are the cane arrows that I made up.

Not much money for bidding this year but am going to donate more.
